PICKPOCKETING

On Saturday a woman was in a market with a lot of people. She bought a lot of things but she couldn't take them because he didn’t found her wallet.

Then she thought was a pickpocketing because she saw a young man with her wallet! He started running so the people didn’t keep calm.

After that, she called the Police and the arrested the man. Twenty minutes later, the woman had the wallet in her hand.

WRITING AN INFORMAL EMAIL

Hi Carlota,

How are you? I haven't written before because I've had exams and now I'm having too but they are easier.

It was great to hear that you are coming to Banyoles to practise your Catalan. I know you practise Catalan in school but... Have you ever had a conversation with a Catalan person? Spanish and Catalan are different because Catalan is the language we speak in Catalonia and Spanish we speak in Spain.

Catalan has some different vocabulary. What do you think “hola”, “com estas?” mean? The answer is “hello” and “how are you?”. Catalans say please a lot we are very polite.

Anyway, who is coming with you? Text me when you arrive.

INDIVIDUAL SPORTS ARE BORING

Now in the world, there are more sports collectives than individuals. Different persons participate in all.

I haven’t been in an individual sport yet, but a lot of people practice. They say they can do the exercise better because the trainer only trains you. You don’t have problems with other persons because is individual. And when you win you feel happy because the effort was solely do it for you.

However, there are some disadvantages. Some of the people say is boring because you haven’t anybody to talk. But others don’t think about this, just think they need to train more because they need to do more effort.

To conclude, I think an individual sport is boring. Is funnier to practice sport with a team. And I think individual sports are more tired than team sports, because if you play an individual sport like running you need to run all the time and if you do team sports like basketball you can have a break.

We caught the wrong line.

We up in the underground, we went to another city, then we caught a different line and we arrived at the hotel.

WRITING:

Last summer, I went to London with my mother and my sister. We traveled by plane. When we arrived we went to the underground because we needed to get to at the hotel.

We walked in the street searching for the underground. When we found one, we saw the different lines. We thought the blue line was the correct so we caught it. When the underground stop we got off but we didn't see the hotel. We caught a wrong line!

In the end although we caught the wrong line, we arrived. At time at that moment we felt stressed but then all was great!
