THE POLAR BEARS

The animal in this photo is a polar bear. Polar bear usually eat seals.

They live in the Artic, Canada, Russia, Greenland and Norway. They live and hunt on the ice. Adult polar bears are 750 kilos. They can swim more than 150 kilometres. Females have two cubs every four or five years.

Pollution is a problem, especially oil. Humans hunt polar bears in some areas. The article ice is smaller because the climate is changing.
